Creating a blog on the Blogger Platform is very easy. And as easy as the creation is, the navigation is even Easier.
Below are the properties found on the blogger Platform, what they all mean and how to set them for full SEO optimisation.
In WordPress, there are plugins (softwares) that have been programmed to automatically provide these settings, but it's not so with Blogger. (One of BLOGGER'S Biggest limitations).
One actually has to do most of the settings manually, but thankfully, they are not as difficult as one might imagine.

When signed into your blogger blog account, you'd be greeted with the below pictures and this is what each feature does.
NEW POST (+)
This is the option that lets you create a brand new post on your blog.
POST
This feature is where all of your published posts appear. Your saved posts (Draft) can also be found here.
STATS
The stats show you all the activities going on in your blog. E.g, your views, number of visitors, Countries of visits, browsers used to visit, most popular contents, Linking websites and so on.
It gives an overview of everything happening in your blogger blog. It acts as a mini Google Analytics .
COMMENTS
Just as the name suggests, this is where all comments and responses dropped by visitors to your blog appear.
Earnings ($)
This feature will only become visible when you have been approved by Google Adsense. But until then, it remains locked.
It shows you how much you have earned on your blog.
PAGES
This is a list of Stand alone pages on your blog like the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Terms And Conditions etc.

LAYOUT
This is the feature where all the widgets are. Widgets lets you customise your theme to your taste by adding or removing any Widget of your choice.
THEME
This tool lets you backup, restore and customise your blog's theme at will.
You can delete a theme and replace with another, backup the existing one and add codings to the HTML.
It also lets you customise the look of the theme.. eg the overall colour, fonts, background colours etc.
SETTINGS
This tool is where you can set the important aspects of your blog. Getting Google to index a blog, or optimise your blog for SEO Is done in the settings
